Talk:Welcome
From PGFSOA Wiki
Thank you George, Roy, John, Dave, Dan, Chris, Bob, Branko, Pat, Leah, and the rest of the PGFSOA team for your good work over the past many months. The current version of the document reflects the results of the team's cross Federal review (several hundred comments received and adjudicated) last Fall as well as much direct authoring and editing by the editorial board and indeed all of the contributors.
The PGFSOA team, with the blessings of the Federal CIO Council Architecture and Infrastructure Committee, has decided to use this wiki to facilitate another round of cross Federal review, comment, and revision of the document.
I am pleased with the work to date, the current draft product, and the decision to open up the review process using social media tools. The document, with broad-based review and input, holds the potential to accelerate the adoption of Service Oriented Architecture and more importantly the realization of its benefits across the Federal IT Portfolio.
I encourage other members of the Federal IT community to closely read and review the draft document. And where they feel they can add value, to go ahead give it a shot. I certainly plan to do so.
